UKPMS/Asset Management Consultant
To be based at the company's Head Office in Caddington, Bedfordshire.
The principal function of the role involves the provision of specialist advice and guidance in the areas of UKPMS, Asset Management & Asset Valuation, and the derivation of strategic asset development plans. Other functions of the role include:
- product implementation/consultancy
- contributing to pre-sales activities
- product training
- quality assurance testing of the product
- customer support
- documentation production
- keeping abreast of the latest national initiatives and standards
Customer Support Consultant
The company has a vacancy for a Customer Support Consultant within the Customer Support team, based at the company's head office in Caddington (near Dunstable), Bedfordshire.
The principal functions involved in this role include:
- the provision of a telephone support service, dealing with specific queries regarding the functionality of Symology's products and how they may best be used to fulfil objectives
- maintaining customer records, including hardware/software installation and network details
- assisting with the Quality Assurance testing of software, prior to release to customers
- producing product-related material to assist customers in the effective operation of the system.
The successful candidate will have the ability to contribute within these activity areas, together with the enthusiasm and commitment to extend their skills base throughout the Customer Support team functions. A capability to work both individually and as part of a team is required. First class communication skills, written and oral, are essential. Above all, care and attention to detail and an aspiration for perfection are required.
Business Development Manager (x2)
Two vacancies are available, one to be based at the company's Sheffield Office and one to be based at the Scottish Office in Larbert (near Falkirk).
The principal functions of the role include:
- pre-sales activities
- account development and sales
- assisting with marketing activities
Analyst/Programmer
Based in our Dunstable, Bedfordshire, offices:
Responsible for functional specification and design of major module areas within the Symology product range, the Analyst/Programmer role includes:
- liaison with the project Analyst to produce program specifications and, on occasions, functional specifications for major module areas within the Symology product range.
- leading a team of programmers throughout the project life cycle, explaining the requirements, monitoring progress, and arranging testing within the team.
There will also be an ongoing involvement in programming tasks.
