Symology are proud to announce that we have achieved the Good Business Charter Accreditation for our ethics and business practices. The accreditation recognises and encourages responsible business behaviour and rewards organisations that exhibit such an approach. As an Employee Owned company we get to choose the kind of organisation we want to be, and being accepted into the Good Business Charter demonstrates that commitment.

The charter measures behaviour over 10 components:

The Good Business Charter has the support of both the CBI and the TUC which both have trustee representation on its board. Other partners of the GBC include the Living Wage Foundation and the Prompt Payment Code. The GBC has been set up by a charity called the Good Business Foundation and accreditation will be free for all companies in the first year.

Symology’s Human Resources Administrator, Sacha Whipp commented “We’ve always operated with our customers and our employees as our priority. Since Symology was formed in 1983, and then becoming Employee Owned in 2014, we have always adhered to the most responsible, ethical and honest business practices. We choose to be a company that our customers are proud to work with and our employees are proud to work for. They deserve it and this achievement proves it.”
